Before going any further, allow me to say a little bit more about my blogging and myself. I've been blogging for almost three years now. It started out when my friends and I decided to post what was happening in our own little lives as we entered University. Something like a reality based campus blog show or something. Anyway, My So Called UP Life was born, and as it grew, so did my addiction to blogging.
Eventually, some of my friends got hold of my poetry and encouraged me to have it published. Not knowing any book publishers, and accepting the fact that only a handful of people would read, let alone actually buy a poetry book I decided to blog them: A Collection of Sorts is my own mish mash of poetry. Please do check it out, and if any of you like my poetry, please let me know so at least I know that somebody aside from myself reads my poetry! Hehehehe...
So what is The Four String Confessions all about?
Well, its about me and my thoughts. A place where I can be myself and let my inner mind run free. Im sure this little plot of cyberspace will eventually grow into something (like most things in life are wont to do) . But as of this moment it is still in its seed form, pushing out from the ground, trying to find the sweet and warm caress of sunshine.
Who am I?
I am Magoo del Mundo, a graduate of Communication Arts from the University of Santo Tomas and currently pursuing my second bachelor's degree in Musicology from the University of the Philippines. I am a book worm and proud of it! I was weaned on C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkkien at an early age. I love photography and have tried my hand at it from time to time. Im also very much into music and how it interacts, molds, directs and even influences the socio-cultural structure of our country. Currently, I play bass for a little band called Juana. By the way, our debut album is out under Warner Music Philippines, entitled Misbehavior.
That's about it I guess... I'll be posting again in awhile. The smell of a late lunch is calling out to me relentlessly and the fact that I skipped breakfast (a bad habit, I know) isn't really helpful. Get back to you in awhile!
Mizpah!
